Dr. Brenner is by far one of the most insightful and empathic psychologists in practice I know. Judging from our clinical work together it is obvious to me that he is a "natural", however, he has never relied on this gift alone. He has and continues to immerse himself in training and further study on couples therapy and advanced therapeutic theory and techniques. Furthermore, by staying active in research he brings state-of-the-art expertise to his practice.

Dr. Brad Brenner is an outstanding psychologist and psychotherapist. He is a gifted clinician who is well trained and highly effective in the use of a variety of clinical approaches, including psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral perspectives. His clinical expertise includes career/self development concerns; self-esteem and identity issues (in particular gender, race, sexual orientation, acculturation); and affect regulation struggles (anxiety, addictions, depression). Most importantly, his highly empathic, engaging style helps clients feel deeply understood and motivated for further self exploration and growth.
